Eugene Peterson

I am a great fan of Eugene Peterson.  From the first book that I read many years ago (A Long Obedience in the Same Direction) through The Contemplative Pastor to the book I have just started (The Pastor:A Memoir) this author has been my mentor and my friend.  I have not met Eugene Peterson face to face, but one day I may be able to say to him in person, "Thank you, Pastor Pete, for being my pastor"...Pastor Brian
